Embodied Emotions

8-Week Sacred Circle

Monday evenings @7:00-9:00 pm CT at Perennial Yoga

The word embodiment seems to be a buzz word that gets thrown around a lot, but many people have no idea what it really is. In this Sacred Circle, in an intimate group setting, you will be guided into the exploration of the concept of what embodiment really means, why it’s so important, and how being more embodied can serve us both individually and collectively to live more authentically and wholeheartedly. You will deepen your understanding of embodiment, explore how this relates to your emotions, as well as learn how embodiment can help you navigate your emotions more fully and regulate your nervous system more effectively. Through the use of meditation, journaling, open discussion, and embodiment practices you will gain a better understanding of all the wisdom that resides within you.

It was an ideal complement to yoga training at Perennial, and Amanda really emphasized the relationship of mind, emotion, and body, using a number of grounding and embodiment techniques.
